RUFF LANGUAGE is the creation and home label of the artist Colonel Red. The new independent label launches with the release of a new Colonel Red EP “Roaming Lion” in May 2009 followed by Redz 2nd album “Sweet Liberation” in June 2009 and is the natural home & next step for the artist who broke away from the majors to reinvent himself as Colonel Red at the new beginning of a new millennium.

Ruff Language was born to nurture & give life to Colonel Red music acting as a shop front for all creative work.

The forthcoming “Sweet Liberation” album and EP series launching with the “Roaming Lion” EP, encapsulates the musical policy of the label..

In Redz own words, RL simply represents “my life, my mic and a pen”…
